A study conducted by researchers in Sweden and published
in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology shows men can cut their
risk of heart disease by 86%! All they had to do was exercise daily for at
least an hour, eat a diet rich in fruits vegetables, legumes, whole grains and
reduced fat dairy products and fish. They could only consume 1 ounce or less a
day of alcohol, and not smoke. The researchers admitted that out of 20,271
subjects only 1% fit the above criteria! But, those 200 guys had 86% less heart
disease. So, it works.
